Frankly, I don't get why we bash on pop so much. Some people just don't understand that people like Rebecca Black and Justin Bieber are not by any means proper musicians. They're nothing but fads and trends that will pass in due time. Metal is timeless.

And, of course, there IS good pop.

If we have to fight any genre, it should be rap. That is the one genre that is truly lacking anything of quality, and is the cancer that will drag society back into the dark ages.
