Thank you for the comment. Maybe one day in the future I'll try to make it longer- but a melody has often almost a life of its own- it is born and simply "dies" at a certain point. So to make it longer I would have to maybe awaken it from its death ;)
@KarlNerman Karl, what a nice surprise to hear from you again :) Yes I'm in a dark pianocomposition mood. Maybe because I've been reading dark books lately- Gods Demon (Barlowe) and Paradise Lost (Milton). Both are about the fallen angels. My next upload is also based on this topic.
When will we hear more new compositions from you Karl? :)
@TheGuyWhoJustShotYou Yes indeed chromatic can be an aquired taste as you say and I understand the reason very well- it easily becomes 'ugly'. I tried balancing 'ugly' with 'beautiful' in this piece by creating a melody that could be comprehended mixing it up with the chromatic.
There may be a danger I see though because as I become more accostumed to the chromatic sound the more far I get from what I reckon is 'understandable' to people.
@KarlNerman: Thanks Karl. Yes the picture is great but I have not been able to find out who made it. If I had I certainly would show respect to the creator by referring to him or her. Have listened to your two new compositions but have not been able to write something clever yet ;) This goes also for your composition 'Piano Inspiration'.

I thought I might aswell post a comment here:
It´s a very interesting and beautiful piece of music, where I clearly can feel the beauty and the horrific in "The Battle of Angels":

I hear a certain delirium here. Almost hypnotic, spiralling.

Yes agree with you regarding my comment on the tension of the piece. I think I may remove the comment as it may be a bit misleading.

Chromatic movements rapidly create an unease which can be hard to put in harmony

It is hard to write a chromatic piece that is easy to listen to. some are an aquired taste if you will. XD But you did a good job!
