I'm looking into buying a delay for my bass, if i can get a tone like that i would be over the moon. I do suggest you drop the drumbeat however it sounds awesome!
How much of that tone is contributed to the reverb?
@renzolikescheez Yeah, you can replicate Chancellor's tone pretty well with Musicman Sterlings. I think that was what he first used in Tool originally, and then someone gave him the Wal he uses today. Also, you can see this guy remiiiiiii on youtube, he used a sterling for his early tool covers then got a wal for his later covers.
@squiresuzuki It was Greg Edwards from a band Failure who showed him Wal bass. I highly recommend this band to everyone. I believe Justin was using Stingray, not Sterling and remiiiiii does not have an original Wal bass, its a copy. cheers
