downtown oakland seams like a nice place. but it's some of the suburbs and outskirts of downtown that scares me. oh well, can't be as bad a places like detroit. i'm just lucky to live in the other side of the bay.
Downtown looks so much better today than it did in the past. Beautiful buildings, and cleaner looking streets. It's not perfect but it's an improvement.

downtown Oakland actually started showing some life but the republican-created DEPRESSION ended that.
