@MyGamer1 well thats just retarded i dont own big end knives like emersons and ZTs and such i own kershaws bucks crkts and i wouldnt ever abuse a knife like that even if its a 20 dollar knife
@usmc11able That's the very point of a destruction test; if it can stand up to this level of abuse and not fail, it is guaranteed to work without incident in any practical applications.
"Big chunk out if the edge of the 0100".What does this mean, the 0100 isn't as tough as the famed CPM3V supposed to be,or is the test to extreme for a knife.
Wow..! Out of the two folding knives, the 0200 with the 154cm cuts better and holds its edge better that the 0301 with s30v steel. This confirms my observation that the 0301 has too wide of a blade. Looks like ZT got it right the first time with the 0200.
@ZeroToleranceKnives Except S7..........and L6; in fact I'd probably throw 3v in there as well, as long as its not hardened past 60 HRC. INFI has a very high degree of malleability, and it is an excellent all around steel, but there are better steels out there for particular applications; and I'm saying this as a busse nuthugger.
For people who just don't get it. These tests really show how much a knife can or can't take. I think it's good to know the limit. If knife makers would do same tests you wouln't be tricked by fancy but useless shits like for an example Chris Reeves knives because they could adjust the heat treatment to manufacture good knives. But I guess until they find brainless snob fanboys they can make enough profit without the extra effort.
serious abuse to a good blade not even realistic tests

I would have liked to see how many times each blade could cut the 1/4" bolt before edge fracture. Intense testing!

If, we're going to be chopping metal. We need a Busse, no other knife steel will be as tough as INFI. EVER!

S30V is probably not the best choice for chopping. It's fairly brittle and is a little infamous for chipping out edges.

This video finally proves that fucking stupid people can do stupid fucking things to good knives.
That is ALL.

So is it shearing, splitting, fracturing completely??? Show the edge. About what I expected from ZT knives...
