the character i just started yesterday wears heavy armor, and specs in blade and all of the spell schools. im already arena grand champion and im working on my arcane university quests now. then its off to the dark brotherhood so i can get the invisibility spell, then the thieves guild, then the fighters guild. After that I'll go around and close oblivion gates and earn sigil stones for gear and weapons. I love this game so much! so many different ways to play and no matter what its a blast.

im so excited to do the thieves guild quests. i just had to reformat so i lost all the progress on the character i was playing. in the past ive always made a rogue type character, contracted vampirism to buff my rogue abilities and then done the thieves guild and the dark brotherhood. but my brother made a mage and did the arena and then mage guild first, he can just cast chameleon or invisibility on himself and then fly through all of these stealth missions with ease.

To everyone. I already got like, 28 messages with 'Braille'. I know it could be braille. Eventhough, Braille on paper was non-existant in that time. In fact, Braille got discovered in 1829. Although, in 1819 'Night writing' got discovered, which was with 12 dots, instead of 6. So yes, I know that the game makers could've ment to use Braille for the monks, but I doubt it.

I cant even move without them waking up, ive not done any stealth stuff yet and got nothing 2 drink 2 hide etc, can i go off and get my stealth skill high b4 finishing this mission or does it matter if i kill all the guards since only takes me one hit 2 knock em dead.

this quest is so fucking stupid... first i didn't know where to go so i lockpicked every door i saw... but there are some which are marked red and if you only open a single one you will not get "the elder scrolls"... the funny thing is that it doesn't matter when you lockpick the white marked ones...
