Actually this would be SKY9 footage, KMGH uses a 3min delay, because both stations can't use the microwave frequencies from the chopper, all video is fed to KUSA who then feeds it over broadband to KMGH on a delay... KMGH Put "AIR TRACKER 7" into storage last March.

The video source was Airtracker 7, a very high-quality helicopter-based device for tracking objects moving through the air. This was completely real. Other videos are usually blurry due to poor filming conditions that aren't ideal for the type of event that's currently happening. If the balloon was going a lot faster, the video would be of poorer quality. But the fact still remains that although the story behind the balloon was a hoax, the video is from a completely real source.
