Melody of the song «I Think of You» (Jack Elliott, Don Marcotte), was incorporated into the album in 1957 «Where Are You?» American singer Frank Sinatra, based on the lyrical theme (E flat major) from Concerto for piano and orchestra № 2 Up minor, Op. 18, I. Moderato by Sergei Rachmaninov.
Very nice. My first listen to this version in quite a long time. Still, the later version he did in the 50's with either Capital or Reprise is my favorite.
This song, "Full Moon and Empty Arms" and "In the Hush of Evening" were all Rachmaninoff melodies from piano concertos. Sergei was still touring in those days and his music was very popular then as now.
this one was good but the other version when he's older and his voice is just.... so longing and the musics tempo is slower.. too bad You tube flagged it.
@JoshuaHo93 .... His voice could resonate so beautifully because he studied voice lessons for years and at the time of these early recordings, Tommy Dorsey wouldn't let Frank drink or smoke to excess, like he did once he broke out on his own. After years of abuse to his throat from too much smoke and liquor, he burned his throat and vocal chords and clogged up his lungs to the point he couldn't draw a good breath to support the sound.

It's pretty version but really not too rare you can find it on many TD cd's. Thanks for the beautiful upload though.
