uh...1. I know it's a V6 2. a car with real power could NEVER be run WOT in 1st and 2nd gear without completely losing traction, regardless of what tires were on it. 3. the driver of the vehicle stated that traction control was off.
me and my brother are getting the 1lt in December when he gets his license, can you tell me if this car is worth it. Im looking forward to get this car.
Nice man. I loved the car. I rented it actually, you can't rent it from Avis and some other companies. Check it out and rent it for a day, it was great having it for a weekend. The V6 was pretty damn fast. But I love how powerful my Trans Am is.
I would LOVE to have the V8 over the V6. However I would have no problem with this 2LT as a daily driver, I loved that car. I wouldn't get rid of my Trans Am for the 6 cylinder though. :)
;) I was actually thinking of getting a 4th gen Z28 or T/A and a 2Lt for daily driving. Not sure the wife is down with that. Besides, Icould use that money towards a '10 SS... yarg, wtf do I do...
Damn dude, that's a tough one. It all depends, do you currently have a daily driver that'll last for the long run? 'Cause if I had a 2010 SS, I definitely would not want to be leaving it at the mall or in parking lots every day. The 2LT made me feel like my T/A is an outdated piece of crap.. :(
naw man, I have 2 shit boxes. Getting an older pick-up truck soon (spending about $5k, for house work) and the 2LT would be my daily driver. Oh and btw, your WS6 is nice! If I could get the WS6 body with the '10 maro interior, Id do it in a heart beat ;D
Idk if the RS package existed when Transormers was out. It's not a bad idea though, high powered Xenon headlights and some other features. You should be fine as far as your height goes. I'm 5'8/5'9 and I moved the seat up a decent amount.
I also took a video of the paddle shifters. If it came out good, I'll post it up soon.
Yup, the shifter goes Park-Reverse-Neutral-Drive-Manual Drive. You drop it all the way down, and then the left paddle is shift down, and the right is shift up. It's very fun haha.
I'm not sure if the Camaro in Transformers was an auto or a manual. If I heard it maybe I'd be able to tell, but it's a movie so who knows. Transformers 1 just had a traditional new Camaro SS. Transformers 2 will have the 2010 Camaro Z28, which has been shelved for now and won't be produced.
I see. Well I'm not really a fan of the Camaro in the new Transformers, but I loved the SS in Transformers 1. But that's awesome. I think I'll go with a 2SS, automatic. I don't think it had the RS package in the first movie either, although I could be wrong.

you know you've got an underpowered car when you go WOT in the damn rain and hardly lose any traction.

...uh.. 1. it's a V6 2. it had brand new high performance all season's.. 3. Traction control. wouldn't have heard it in the video anyway

How is it underpowered? A Mustang GT has a little over 300hp and the V6 Camaro has 300hp,

Oh man.. that's like.. PERFECT. My Trans Am beats even the new Camaro as far as power goes, but damn is the new camaro so awesome.

One last question: I'm 6'3", will I have any problems with my height?
Thanks again.

Manual or automatic?
iLiveToDrive 2 years ago
Auto, I was using the paddle shifters :D
EVILWS666 2 years ago
Wait, so you can shift with an automatic?
And do you know if the Camaro in Transformers was a manual or an automatic?
I kind of want it to be just like the movie's, because it was one of my favorite movie's.
Thanks for the help.
