Yup i know. A month ago i rode with 2 xcitings and a gilera nexus. My top was 180kph but on the gilera it recorder a 176kph top speed.

Had that same problem too before. Drilled holes on the clutch bell. Never had that problem ever since

i own the exact same scooter. (2006 mod).U do realize that the speedo shows around 20 km above reality? the true top speed is 150-155 km/h.

in cold days when i start, the scooter rumbles all the way until reaches 25-30km.

does your scooter makes that too? nice video and nice scooter for it's value...

Carb the video was taken when it was all stock now it runs 180kph with few modifications.

Daekris your turtle is faster? Your xciting 500ri new look goes 190kph with lots of modifications and is Injected already. Btw i am 240lbs

anche io ho un xciting 500r e mi è capitato di arrivare a 160kmh con ancora un margine di velocità massima ,ma sò di per certo che uno dei grandi difetti di questo scooter è il tachimetro che è sballato di un 10kmh di media.

dude this shot is taken from our South/ or North Luxon express way...Am I right? i could see those familiar buses running like a freak on that road...our express way accomodate only 400 cc and abouve bikes......so better buy this 500cc or else youl end up in service road...Traffic..... secondo me il Majesty 400 nonostante la cilindrata mionore va lo stesso piu forte dello Xciting 500. Allunga parecchio il Kymko: 147 effettivi contro 150 del majesty.

io sono un felice possessore dell xcityng 500 r assolutamente i miei freni sono molto e ripeto molto più potenti e resistenti di quelli del t max sono wawe 280mm impressionanti fidati sono diffamazioni ti un prodotto molto valido ovviamente nn sono i freni del gilera gp800 ke sono freni da pista ma nemmeno i miei scherzano

still stock, hopefully will do some tunning after the warranty period... not bad for the 250cc considering the weight of the xciting. my grand dink 250 (grand vista) before could reach 140kph stock, but its lighter than the xciting 250. a polini 300cc upgrade would be perfect!

Nice ride dude! Top speed at 170 km/h is very impressive. My Xciting 250 carb, does 130 km/h (with or without Multivar). Is this one stock or tuned?
