Now, Christian is the only one who is feeling bad. Olli has heard what he wanted to hear from Nico, so he's finally relieved, but he doesn't care at all about how Christian is feeling.
Even if i haven't experienced it yet, i truly think that it is not possible to be mad at somebody for so long time, even when it's about love and faithfulness (actually, i am really not a spiteful person, that's why i am more on Christian's side who is the only to prove that he is still in love).

So I was watching Chrolli up until 102 and then I stopped because I knew what this episode was going to hold. I didn't want to continue on until I knew things were going to get better, which I now know they are. So I have a lot of catching up to do for the months that I missed. That being said this episode has been so cringe worthy. I've been covering my eyes saying "No no no no no!!" My computer is also having freezing problems and it froze on Charlies face when she saw Olli at 9:06 :<

Sometimes I wonder if Christian is not entirely gay, he's just only loved Olli as his only guy partner. Every other partner or fling he's had has been with women (e.g. Rebecca, Jessica, Theresa, and all the women he was with before Olli). Before he met Olli, it was women he was crazy about.

@Barclay4456 It seems to me that some folk here just don't take gay men being married to each other seriously. They way they talk it's like Ollie and Christian have been dating for a few weeks. This is SERIOUS. Marriage is all about commitment and trust. Once that's gone, it takes more than a few "I'm sorrys" to fix it.

More than three years ago I discovered this series and fell in love with this beautiful couple but now I feel as if i have been made a fool of and been wasting my time following the story. It's high time C & O understand each-other's real value. And it's ridiculous how C always has heart problems by physical stress than by mental stress? He should be in a doctor's office under medication rather than having fun on sofa with another person, just opposite of C' house? Please give some ideas to the writers...and definitely Chrolli should not be the tragedy like all other g-themed love stories. Give us some happy ending for a break.
Ollie has NEVER cheated on Christian despite being RELENTLESSLY persuded by Rob,O had forgiven C for his 2 past betrayals with women before Jessica,Theresa is the limit,Olli has never truly rejected Christian at any time so that is no excuse for Christians behaviour, life throws s*** at couples all the time its how you deal with it as a couple that is the true test of a partnership,C isn't up to it and needs take personal responsibilty for his actions without using Olli as an excuse.
When your relationship is in trouble that is when your love is proven. But when ever Chrolli's relationship has been bad, Christian has failed to prove his love for Olli. He always returns to the same behaviour, kissing or sleeping with someone else. I think Olli would have more faith in their relationship if Christian would fight for their relationship when it is tough instead of always throwing in the towel. It is such a shame because they were such a beautiful couple.

When Luke and Reid on ATWTwere destroyed, I was convinced that in American shows and soaps a gay couple never gets a happy ending. So, I stopped watching all gay SL including Chrolli. When I happened to watch Chrolli by chance last week, I came across the current atrocious SL. Now, I am convinced that gay couples never get a happy ending in shows anywhere. I wasted a year watching Luke and Reid, only to be shattered in the end. Good, I gave up watching Chrolli. No regrets if Chrolli breaks up.
@TheSydneycan In soaps, there's no such thing as a "happy ending" in couples unless they leave the show together. 95% of straight soap couples never get a happy ending, so it's really no different with gay couples. As soon as people ingrain that reality into their heads, the better off they'd be.
@superxx57: At the end of ATWT, every straight couple in Oakdale got a happy ending. Not so the case with the three gay characters. One (Reid) was killed, his beloved (Luke) was left grieving, and the ex (Noah) was shipped off to LA. Luke and Reid drove the ratings of ATWT to unprecedented heights, yet they were given the raw deal. So yes, straight couples are definitely favored over the gay couples, at least in American shows and soaps.
@TheSydneycan Sorry, but you're mistaken. Luke and Reid never drove ratings to unprecedented heights for ATWT. Despite the hype, their episodes as a couple were often some of the lowest in viewers or just matching decent viewing. Luke/Noah episodes however used to heighten ratings, as they were groundbreaking couple. But I definitely agree that the gay characters got the shaft at the end badly. Doubt it'll happen to VL though (hopefully). ;)

But, who is to judge that Luke and Noah rode the ratings. After all, LURE and NUKE shippers were free to have their allegiances. I was an ardent admirer of all three; Reid, Luke, and Noah. My point is the hypocrisy of American shows and soaps. They preach discrimination is a NO, yet it seems to be very much prevalent.
@TheSydneycan Ratings were issued each week, so numbers were accessible. I personally didn’t care that much about couples; I was also always more interested in individual characters. There was barely disguised homophobia in the way their storylines were handled at the end. ATWT was always good at building up then screwing it up painfully. US soaps kept resisting evolution, despite all the preaching. No wonder they’re now all dropping like flies. You’d think they’d have gotten a clue in time.

So, if your point is that straight and gay couples are treated equally, they are definitely not. At least NOT on ATWT. In fact an extremely popular gay couple (Luke and Reid) was sacrificed to prop up the possibly worst ever straight couple (Chris and Katie). Even Barbara and the clown had more chemistry than Chris and Katie.
@TheSydneycan I talked to many NUKE fans and 100% of us know that Luke got on his private plane and flew to L.A. and that they are living a happy life as a couple there. Life is what you make it and so is the happy end of a soap, if you want to.

The VL writers and producers have completely run out of ideas in continuing a beautiful love story that they once created. They have reduced Christian, who once would move heaven and earth for his love, to a cheating manwhore. And, they have transformed the once vibrant Olli, to a pathetic self-pitying and suffering character. I was so pissed up with the Luke and Reid ending on ATWT, I stopped watching gay SL including Chrolli. I came to Chrolli last week. I am back to my hiatus of Chrolli.

I don't want a quick fix make up, I don't want them to jump into bed and be in happy fluffy pink clouds of love forever more. That is unrealistic. I want them to have a proper conversation where they both communicate as real people would and should, not a half-arsed chat on a pavement. I also want an explanation as to what Christian thinks he is doing and why Ollie is so traumatised! It is maddening :(
Ollie is a controlling drama queen who first cheated with Rob and threw his relationship to the backseat. Christian's thing with Rebecca happened when he was blind drunk, rejected by ollie and she aggressively took advantage of him. during that time Ollie went to the gay clubs and I suspect threw himself to the men with the excuse of being blind drunk and feeling no pain. Ollie broke up Christian's relationship with Coco to aggressively pursue Christian. So no pity for Ollie!
(NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Say it isn't so, I don't think I can handle this. I shed tears of disappointment and sorrow.) Drama aside, I feel both that VL has made it so we can't stop watching until they have that great moment were they fix this mess, and that VL has let us down in a way. So now I stand on the fence , frozen with a tissue in hand, glued to the screen waiting with hope and fear, that my Dreams come true and my Nightmares don't. Thanks May. Christian is a manwhore. He's cheated on Olli with Miriam, Rebecca, Jessica, and Theresa. And, may be, he wants to test some more women to check if he's straight or gay. Cheating and infidelity are the worst things in any relationship or marriage. Hope, Olli kicks Christian to the curb. He deserves better than someone who cannot help dropping his pants to test the next available franchise.

@RRKLJ I feel that any sort of CHROLLI reunion will defintely need time & MAJOR effort on the writers, but we've viewers that really don't give a crap about HOW it happens as long as it DOES happen before September 2011. It'll be crap, (IMO) if it gets resolved by that time.
@DMR2006 The writers are failing to deliver the chemistry, reality and honesty that attracted me to the show in the first place. In reality, when you're husband is contemplating jumping in front of a car whilst drunk, you don't then go and do the thing that landed you in that situation in the first place. especially when he clearly admitted that 'oli let me get close to him and i messed it up.' VL is the first soap opera that inspired me. I'm impressed by the chemistry and the romance between the two characters. However, what I saw recently was that Christian has changed a lot. It seemed to me that he didn;t love Olli with all his heart. He wanted to be intimate with women and then cared nothing for other people. Why? Ollie is sensitive and nice. He deserves more than that. He's still loyal. Find another handsome man for Olli. P/S. Can't deny that Jo's acting is so excellent, brilliant

Before Olli, he only had girlfriends, so I don't actually understand the whole drama about is he or isn't he into women - Olli is bi, yet he's only been with men since his coming back to the show (if you don't count that little kissing with Coco), so why is it so farfetched for Christian to be bi too?

Olli continued to sign them up as foster parents when Christian wasn't ready and was still grieving, after O promised he would not. When C feels like he's "not heard" by O and O forges right on ahead -- C acts out by drinking or doing stupid things. ( I'm not condoning the cheating) Then O plays the victim, C feels guilty and on it goes. These two need to learn to really communicate.

And Christian used that ammunition against 1 he profesed to love. Christian made it a point of kissing females everytime he was mad at Olli.
I am always brought back to reality and reminded that this is a soap opera at moments like this, just when Olli is ready to maybe accept Christian back, he does something else that could potential threaten it all, for good.
That being said, i’m really going to miss Chrolli, but if the writers allow Olli to forgive this time, it will only mean another shambles of a storyline.
Oh.Dear. This situation completely validates Olli’s reasons for making Christian wait for so long. He distinctly said that ‘all he felt was fear that christian was pretending, even from the start.’ And by him sleeping with another women so free spiritedly,in Olli’s aunts apartment, with Olli next door,only proves that Olli did nothing wrong, he knew the truth in his heart. Olli deserves better, and Christian’s either a cheating jerk or trying to win Olli back with envy.

@mariophilippo I think this is the key thing. It's not that Christian is cheating, it's more that he's cheating with women and not men that is really making the whole thing seem rather ridiculous, much as Thore & Jo are doing a superb job as ever.
Just out of interest anyone have any idea how this storyline is being received in Germany ? Best conclusion i think Christian tells Olli about Theresa,Ollis heart is finally closed to C for good without any lingering doubts or despair,he rejects C totally,he leaves and Olli is set free to find someone else.Doubt i will find anything else watchable or believable.Christian has serious issues which cannot be glossed over in soap opera territory.Thank you again MercuryMay for your patience and work

Christian having sex with that Theresa just breaks my heart into million of pieces. I have been obsessed over this show for about 4 years. But now Christian makes me feel like i have wasted my time for getting hooked on Chrolli that much. I was so naive to think that their love is like an eternal flame. And now the writers ruin everything. They ruin the beautiful love of Chrolli. They destroy my hope for true love. I hate them. Go to hell the stupid writers.

Now, Christian is the only one who is feeling bad. Olli has heard what he wanted to hear from Nico, so he's finally relieved, but he doesn't care at all about how Christian is feeling.
Even if i haven't experienced it yet, i truly think that it is not possible to be mad at somebody for so long time, even when it's about love and faithfulness (actually, i am really not a spiteful person, that's why i am more on Christian's side who is the only to prove that he is still in love).

Sometimes I wonder if Christian is not entirely gay, he's just only loved Olli as his only guy partner. Every other partner or fling he's had has been with women (e.g. Rebecca, Jessica, Theresa, and all the women he was with before Olli). Before he met Olli, it was women he was crazy about.

When your relationship is in trouble that is when your love is proven. But when ever Chrolli's relationship has been bad, Christian has failed to prove his love for Olli. He always returns to the same behaviour, kissing or sleeping with someone else. I think Olli would have more faith in their relationship if Christian would fight for their relationship when it is tough instead of always throwing in the towel. It is such a shame because they were such a beautiful couple.

When Luke and Reid on ATWTwere destroyed, I was convinced that in American shows and soaps a gay couple never gets a happy ending. So, I stopped watching all gay SL including Chrolli. When I happened to watch Chrolli by chance last week, I came across the current atrocious SL. Now, I am convinced that gay couples never get a happy ending in shows anywhere. I wasted a year watching Luke and Reid, only to be shattered in the end. Good, I gave up watching Chrolli. No regrets if Chrolli breaks up.

@TheSydneycan In soaps, there's no such thing as a "happy ending" in couples unless they leave the show together. 95% of straight soap couples never get a happy ending, so it's really no different with gay couples. As soon as people ingrain that reality into their heads, the better off they'd be.

One (Reid) was killed, his beloved (Luke) was left grieving, and the ex (Noah) was shipped off to LA. Luke and Reid drove the ratings of ATWT to unprecedented heights, yet they were given the raw deal. So yes, straight couples are definitely favored over the gay couples, at least in American shows and soaps.

Despite the hype, their episodes as a couple were often some of the lowest in viewers or just matching decent viewing. Luke/Noah episodes however used to heighten ratings, as they were groundbreaking couple. But I definitely agree that the gay characters got the shaft at the end badly. Doubt it'll happen to VL though (hopefully). ;)

But, who is to judge that Luke and Noah rode the ratings. After all, LURE and NUKE shippers were free to have their allegiances. I was an ardent admirer of all three; Reid, Luke, and Noah. My point is the hypocrisy of American shows and soaps. They preach discrimination is a NO, yet it seems to be very much prevalent.

@TheSydneycan Ratings were issued each week, so numbers were accessible. I personally didn’t care that much about couples; I was also always more interested in individual characters. There was barely disguised homophobia in the way their storylines were handled at the end. ATWT was always good at building up then screwing it up painfully. US soaps kept resisting evolution, despite all the preaching. No wonder they’re now all dropping like flies. You’d think they’d have gotten a clue in time.

So, if your point is that straight and gay couples are treated equally, they are definitely not. At least NOT on ATWT. In fact an extremely popular gay couple (Luke and Reid) was sacrificed to prop up the possibly worst ever straight couple (Chris and Katie). Even Barbara and the clown had more chemistry than Chris and Katie.

They have reduced Christian, who once would move heaven and earth for his love, to a cheating manwhore. And, they have transformed the once vibrant Olli, to a pathetic self-pitying and suffering character. I was so pissed up with the Luke and Reid ending on ATWT, I stopped watching gay SL including Chrolli. I came to Chrolli last week. I am back to my hiatus of Chrolli.

I don't want a quick fix make up, I don't want them to jump into bed and be in happy fluffy pink clouds of love forever more. That is unrealistic. I want them to have a proper conversation where they both communicate as real people would and should, not a half-arsed chat on a pavement. I also want an explanation as to what Christian thinks he is doing and why Ollie is so traumatised! It is maddening :(

Ollie is a controlling drama queen who first cheated with Rob and threw his relationship to the backseat. Christian's thing with Rebecca happened when he was blind drunk, rejected by ollie and she aggressively took advantage of him. during that time Ollie went to the gay clubs and I suspect threw himself to the men with the excuse of being blind drunk and feeling no pain. Ollie broke up Christian's relationship with Coco to aggressively pursue Christian. So no pity for Ollie!

(NNNNOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! Say it isn't so, I don't think I can handle this. I shed tears of disappointment and sorrow.) Drama aside, I feel both that VL has made it so we can't stop watching until they have that great moment were they fix this mess, and that VL has let us down in a way. So now I stand on the fence , frozen with a tissue in hand, glued to the screen waiting with hope and fear, that my Dreams come true and my Nightmares don't. Thanks May. Cheating and infidelity are the worst things in any relationship or marriage. Hope, Olli kicks Christian to the curb. @RRKLJ I feel that any sort of CHROLLI reunion will defintely need time & MAJOR effort on the writers, but we've viewers that really don't give a crap about HOW it happens as long as it DOES happen before September 2011. It'll be crap, (IMO) if it gets resolved by that time.

In reality, when you're husband is contemplating jumping in front of a car whilst drunk, you don't then go and do the thing that landed you in that situation in the first place. especially when he clearly admitted that 'oli let me get close to him and i messed it up.' The writers seem to constantly contradict themselves

VL is the first soap opera that inspired me. I'm impressed by the chemistry and the romance between the two characters. However, what I saw recently was that Christian has changed a lot. It seemed to me that he didn;t love Olli with all his heart. He wanted to be intimate with women and then cared nothing for other people. Why? Ollie is sensitive and nice. He deserves more than that. He's still loyal. Find another handsome man for Olli. P/S. Can't deny that Jo's acting is so excellent, brilliant

Before Olli, he only had girlfriends, so I don't actually understand the whole drama about is he or isn't he into women - Olli is bi, yet he's only been with men since his coming back to the show (if you don't count that little kissing with Coco), so why is it so farfetched for Christian to be bi too?

@Helios89Zg It's not all Christian. Neither one of them are looking at WHY the relationship is imploding.. Olli continued to sign them up as foster parents when Christian wasn't ready and was still grieving, after O promised he would not. When C feels like he's "not heard" by O and O forges right on ahead -- C acts out by drinking or doing stupid things. ( I'm not condoning the cheating) Then O plays the victim, C feels guilty and on it goes. These two need to learn to really communicate.

And Christian used that ammunition against 1 he profesed to love. Christian made it a point of kissing females everytime he was mad at Olli.

Oh.Dear. This situation completely validates Olli’s reasons for making Christian wait for so long. He distinctly said that ‘all he felt was fear that christian was pretending, even from the start.’ And by him sleeping with another women so free spiritedly,in Olli’s aunts apartment, with Olli next door,only proves that Olli did nothing wrong, he knew the truth in his heart. Olli deserves better, and Christian’s either a cheating jerk or trying to win Olli back with envy.

Just out of interest anyone have any idea how this storyline is being received in Germany ? Best conclusion i think Christian tells Olli about Theresa,Ollis heart is finally closed to C for good without any lingering doubts or despair,he rejects C totally,he leaves and Olli is set free to find someone else.Doubt i will find anything else watchable or believable.Christian has serious issues which cannot be glossed over in soap opera territory.Thank you again MercuryMay for your patience and work

DMR2006 To be honest i have never actually "fallen" for a storyline in any of the UK soaps as i had done for C&O,the nearest we have to a gay couple portraying true chemistry is a couple Christian and Syed in Eastenders,i suppose if the writing had not been so good in the early days for C&O and Jo/Thores acting being so convincing/charismatic there wouldn't be a lot of dismay around at the very destructive turn their story has taken,for me Christians character screwing around in a room opposite
