You can find a bigger tidal bore 5-10 km down river but those places are hard to access because there's no roads leading up to the river. The tidal bore starts forming 20 km down river in Memramcook. There is a small stretch of river in Dover area where the bore can reach 5 ft high during right conditions.
Thanks for your comment. Yes, very much a bore whore, haha! Much appreciated! I was just thinking about taking clips upriver, form different vantage points, as there are no known clips, to my knowledge, recently anyway, that is to say, the last 42 years. , But I'm going to make a public appeal to local residents and past tourists to share clips prior to 1968,. 1968 was the year that this magnificent river was choked off. Tomorrow we, 'The Bore Whores,' going to view the bore upriver, Cheers!
Hi, you are obviously very much a bore addict !, are there many other spots you could film from would be interesting to see., also what in terms of tide height was that tide you filmed, just wondered what the river is capable of doing as from the vids Ive seen it does not get much bigger then that. Cheers, thanks.
What is the time of the day the bore gets the biggest ?

@wedgem Based on what Harbertom and I see on the Severn here in the UK, upstream in a narrower, deeper section could be very interesting.
