Al's version is nearly identical, even down to the instrumental break; it's very possible this was simply an uncredited parody meant to sneak by Prince, who has constantly refused Yankovic to parody one of his songs. IN YOUR FACE PRINCE!!!!

The greatest thing about this one is, that Prince could easily write a song as silly as this. He actually has a lot of humour, but probably refuses Weird Al to parody him, since it would considered as a "Michael Jackson wanna be" move. This song is great though.

@karelyn8 Prince has refused to let Al parody his songs, but in reality there's nothing he can do about it. The Supreme Court said that parody constitutes fair use, and therefore doesn't require permission from the original artist.
