None of these programs are free. They will install, do a scan, and list whatever problems it finds. Then you have to purchase the unlock key to have it fix the problems. Check out the reviews on trusted sites like CNET and decide. I bought one recently and so far it works pretty good but I am not listing the name. Also reading user reviews, if available, is a good idea. Just thought my recent experience might be helpful.

then some one suggested me to run disk defragmentation i tried and it actually worked for me.

thats good and there is another prog that you can install and it will help a lot which is "Smarty Unistaller"... this assistant will unistall a program and then use secure erase to free the registry entries and files from the program you are unistalling... that will prevent all those useless registry entries from programs you unistall long time ago... =P
