I saw one Max Fleischer cartoon from the 30s and it was a bit similar to this. It was about a couple from the country going to the Worlds Fair--they start out all unattractive but come out very pretty and handsome. It was really cute^^

when i was a kid, we had this along with some other betty boop cartoons on vhs and i remember watching them on really blustery winter days when it was too cold to go outside and play.

i love these old animations. so amazing.

@muhreeuh Omg! Us too. In fact I still have the tape!! The cartoon after this one was the one with the City Pests. The one with different types of annoying people that do rude things like throwing gum on the floor or always splashing people? I still enjoy it whenever I'm able to get a working VCR.
