They really attacked Dave Spearman's arm a lot on the match. Even kept Ed Franks out of the ring so he wouldn't fight back to Fuller and Golden. But Fuller and Golden had a style similar to Ole and Arn Anderson--torn the ring down and kept their opponent in their corner to do all that arm smashing.

I remembered seeing Ed Franks and Dave Spearman compete in Atlanta on TV. Yet they even wrestled in Continental in Alabama.

Spearman wrestled on Memphis TV and MId SOuth a few times. And i"m pretty sure FL. I think he was on oe Mike Jackson's guys that made the TV loops

Robert Fuller & Roy Lee Welch were cousins. Buddy Fuller was Rbert's dad & Lester Welch was Roy Lee's dad. Roy Lee worked for the Fuller's in Con't. Championship Wrestling which started out in Knoxville, Tn. I know this because I was married to Robert for 17 yrs. and I am Miss Sylvia from the Stud's Stable.
