I have a 1968 firebird, I am looking to do something to really improve horsepower...turbocharger, supercharger? I'm not sure what would be best. its a 400 with a 2 barrel carb. some input would be nice! thanks!

finally someone knows how to smokem, stock 400 ram air , one sweet ride , i used to fish tail , brody , ect . at will , no prob , you remind me of the good old days ! next try gettin that front end "up"off the line !! that car should jump "up" sideways , like a shot out of a slingshot !! well the stock 400 anyways .

very nice - sounds like it revs! - I had a 68 bird in the early eighties - I had the stock 350 and then dropped in a 400 but always wanted to put in a hot 327 to turn some rpm - still beat my friends 66 GTO with the 389 - of course those where large cars..
