  • it would be nice if Louis Abbott himself would elberate on the great white throne judgement..first u go to hell then once "that day" arrives for the g w jdgmnt then yer cast into the pit with death hell etc...as far as calvies man made {which millions believe} error what would be the purpose if god predestines u2 biurn 4ever & what would be the purpose for it with universal reconciliation ;;even if paul never wrote anything about himself repenting daily incase he "may have" become disqualified

  • Thanks Gary, double honor for those who labor in the word Abbott is surely receiving his in glory. Interviews like this have truly changed my life. Its sad that weekly God is blasphemed in churches across the world, as a cruel, maniacal sadist.

  • i do not believe that all will be saved,it is gods desire that all man be saved ,but we clealrly make a our choice life or death. i do however agree with louis abbot stdy and respect the fact that aion has been misused and abused by many who imo have not studied the Greek.

  • Man's "choice?:

-is the "author and finisher of our faith." (Heb. 12:2)

-calls us through His grace. (Gal. 1:15).

    -draws people to Himself. (John 6:44,65; 12:32; 14:16; 15:16)

-creates a clean heart. (Psalm 51:10)

-His arm brings salvation. (Psalm 98:1,2; (Isa. 51:5,6; Isa. 59:1)

  • Man's Choice?:

-appoints people to believe. (Acts 13:48)

-works faith in the believer. (John 6:28-29)

-chooses who is to be holy and blameless. (Eph. 1:4)

-chooses us for salvation (2 Thess. 2:13-14).

-grants the act of believing. (Phil. 1:29)

    -grants repentance. (2 Tim. 2:24-26)

-calls according to His purpose. (2 Tim. 1:9

  • Man's Choice?:

-causes us to be born again. (1 Pet. 1:3)

-predestines us to salvation. (Rom. 8:29-30)

-predestines us to adoption. (Eph. 1:5)

-predestines us according to His purpose. (Eph. 1:11)

*makes us born again not by our will but by His will. (John 1:12-13)

It looks to me tha when men "think" they "choose" they are operating out of their carnal mind, ego. This mind will come to naught in due time. God saves, not man.

  • Would you please list for me the proof texts that support the "all will be saved" belief. Thank you

  • if you go to tentmaker ministries and type in the search box reconciliation scriptures or Do you believe all in the Bible, you should come up with a couple lists. I can't post the url in youtube responses cause youtube doesn't allow it.

  • @StayWellYouKn0w Heaven is not temporary. After the aionian life and aionian punishment, Death will be defeated and everyone will become immortal with God.

  • I think what needs to happen is that the uses of Aion and Aionios needs to be presented to some INDEPENDENT, nonpartisan, third party people who specialize in linguistics and Greek language studies!

If this where to be done, then a consensus can be drawn from their conclusions.

This OF COURSE would NOT Prove a point to Hardcore members on either side of the coin, but it would, at the very least, give rise to a sliver of doubt to whomever is considered incorrect about the Word's usage!

  • Just the usage of the story of Jonah ALONE, should give pause to the idea that Aionios meaning Eternal.

IN FACT, that portion of scripture along with Most ALL other uses of the word Aionios, PROVES that Aionios can NEVER mean Eternal!

I can NOT understand how ANYONE can argue that the word Aion or Aionios EVER means Eternal, AT ALL!! It just goes against ALL logic.

I am NOT trying to ruffle any feathers, but it should seem OBVIOUS anyone that what this man is stating is TRUE!

  • Wow. Heaven is temporary.

  • Wish I had the opportunity to sit under the teaching of this scholarly gentleman.

  • Besides translation, there are other issues overlooked here. The Biblical concept of forever seems to last until death or Jubilee. Such as selling oneself into slavery forever (Lev 21:6) but being set free at Jubilee.

We are under the Law until dying to it in baptism. Only death and Jubilee can release from eternal things! Lake of Fire appears to be ongoing dying rather than final death, which excludes escape that way, and there is no mention in Scripture of a Jubilee for those therein.

  • i just wonder why hell concept didn't really come about until it was found in the book of Daniel talking about eternal suffering

Before that, there as a sheol..but the concept of people being tortured eternally came about in Daniel

  • praise God!

  • Gary Amirault is a scholar!

All scholars study and make research in Ancient Hellenic language, the mother of all languages.

  • Greek isn't the Mother of all languages.

Phoenician is. Greek came from it as well as Hebrew and Aramaic.

  • Could you tell me what Phoenix-Phoenician means in that language? Ancient Hellas had 8 kings with name PHOENIX. Phoenicians and all Cannanites are Peleshet whose origin was Aegaean Sea (known as the Sea people) before the explosion of the Vulcano in Santorine.

  • Awsome teacher!
