i love this song it means so much to me i dont have the courage to go back to the army i was raised in the salvation army i would love to hear the staff songsters sing the one i dueted on he leadeth me if u ever do this i wwould love to hear it it may just take me back to the army and god

Stupid question I know, but is the Staff band/songsters for Officers only?

No, firstly you must be a Christian in the Salvation Army, become a uniformed soldier and songster then you can apply to join the staff Songsters.
You have to apply, be recommended by their corps officer and then pass an audition.
You have to be able to attend practise in London every Wednesday evening and also one weekend a month visit corps in the UK.
You must also remain active in your home corps. A big commitment especially as most songsters have full time jobs and many travel.
