Sounds beautiful to me, maybe needs a bit more diaphragm, or fullness to the sound but still good, nice tone.

sounds good, but seriously my flute teachers always telling me to stand still and you need to do the same, waving it around doesnt help the sound your providing

This is my favorite solo I have done so far. I played it my freshman year as my solo for a contest. And about wishing you had better acoustics to play in, it sounds weird, but try a restroom. My parents bathroom has great acoustics.

The beginning is almost identical to "Reloj" ("Clock"), a classic "bolero". Anyway, that's a matter of the composer. Your performance is outstanding!!

U gotta breathe deeper too.. dun breath using ur chest.. which is why u are taking way too many breaths and makes the piece a little choppy

I'm performing this piece tomorrow! I have a habit of rushing also... You just gotta practise with the metronome... for a while.. then once u get used to it.. Just ensure u have a steady pace and experiment with the speeds.. And u running notes are wayyy too fast.. which makes your notes sound sticky... and not clear enough.. but nice attempt

Not bad, but like everyone else is saying, that second part was only like what, 10 BPM faster? You went reeeeally fast. I only know that since I played it for me freshman solo, but... the whole not taking lessons for 3 years is understandable... I have that problem too. =]

I love this song but like after you get to the faster part im not hearing tall the notes don't like combine all into one. but all in all i love the song good job

you might want to differentiate the faster part with the slower part. and you're actually going a little too fast there. i know this piece well. good job. find the core of your sound by pulling the corners of your lips down more. like if you're frowning. also, take some time to hear the next sections before actually playing them. get the sound in your ear before executing them.

yer tone sounds beautiful but yew have a tendency to rush a lot. The beginning was beyond perfect but certain parts were a bit uneven and rushed

I need to buy a metronome!!! Rushing is a bad habbit of mine! I haven't had lessons for nearly 3 years now so I would really like to go back to a teacher but I can't afford it!

My metronome has a tuner and a tone thingy on it. It was only $30. Woodwinds and brasswinds give a lot of good deals on clearance.

It's a tendency for all flutists to rush. I think it's cuz in band, we're always given a lot of movement.
