starting riff is played on the 7th fret on the A string, not 2nd fret on the D string

and all the rhythm in this song is to played with downstrokes

you dont seem to downstroke with that starting riff

lol thanks man... in 7 years worth you could be better , if I could I'd like to say I have actually played 5 years of dedicated guitar ... I went a couple months here and there without playing.. and at one point went a whole year... due to work and other life crap.. and after that year... I picked up a guitar.... I put my fingers on the board and couldn't play shit. But after a few hours of fucking around... I played that shit like cheap whore lol, but the moral of the story is to keep practicin

First of all , thanks for the comment man, and well i mean what do you mean by average? how long have you been playing? Well I've been playing for around 7 years now it it was pretty difficult for me to learn both rhythm and lead on this song especially are tricky. I'd say and justice for all... album has the hardest metallica songs to learn especially this one, frayed ends of sanity, and dyers eve.

well ive been playing for a little over a year and i rly only play the intro to some songs, the best songs i can do r intro to free bird and rythme, intro to sad but true, and intro to sweet child o' mine

Well those are all pretty simple songs man... lol but for this one song to learn from top to bottom would take you about atleast 3 good dedicated years of guitar experience and about 5 hours of learning and playing over and over until you can play without forgetting a part. After that just play it once in a while.. every other day or so

just like learning how to ride a bike... I know everyone says that but it's true in a way

lol I have the ...and justice for all tablature book I went off of that so I guess it's wrong, but I have seen them play the main riff on the A string 7th fret the way I play it right after the solo :D
