They didn't play this song when I saw them for the first time in May of this year, but I'm hoping they play it when I go to Rock The Park 2009 in London, Ontario. It's such a great song, and I can only imagine what it would be like to hear it live.
1993? we are really getting old ... first time the hip captured me was a longggggg time ago in The Hague ... The Doors .... Jacques Brel ..... The Hip ..... great music
What show some semblance of talent? lol...only Gord whips out way more than just some semblance of talent...I remember a highway median divider thingy just outside of Hamilton about 10 years ago that said "Jesus is Lord" only someone had crossed out the "L" and replaced it with a "G." So it said "Jesus is Gord."
I've hung out with the band after hours on three different occasions during shows in MA, CT and NY back in the late 80's and early 90's. This footage is priceless!
gord i named my fish after u, gord and downey!. accept i named the one drowney because he died the 3rd day i had him:( i loved them "fully and completely". gord misread his 'nautical" charts and ran head on into downey it was a "disaster"! It took 'courage' but gord owned up to his mistake after i spotted the 'little bones' floating up to the surface of the tank!!! HIP! HIP! HIP!
born in Buffalo raised in Orlando(22 years) now back in Buffalo..closer to my boys. I'm 38 years old and I've never kissed a girl......chick hip fan here guys Gord is Lord in my heaven Gord Sinclair can rock my world
gords not drunk.i was lucky enough to hang out with him for a day before he did a show in edmonton.i was manging the hotel he was staying at at the time.he is a very shy person, who just really feels and believes in his music.he also suffers from acute stage frieght if you can believe that.
the best tragically hip show i have ever saw was at the misty moon , halifax , n .s. canada way back in the early 90's it was a CHUM production/ muchusic .
i have to say these guys are the greatest i have ever heard, i love all their songs. if any1 ever gievs a negetive comment, FUCK OFF! kuz they made a diamond album, and not many bands have. i'd like to see sum1 post a negetive comment with a picture of THEIR bands diamond album.

i narrowly lost a dance-off to downie in the early 90's. he was insane, incorporating waltz and break dancing, etc.
i forever bow to the gord's remarkable estaire-ness!
