Expensive? Think what a communications receiver that had a 50 mHz real time spectrum scope/water fall would cost 10 years ago. If you could even get one that is. :)
I have had one for a number of months and I'm very impressed with it. The software is up dated regularly as issues are found. Also the user support is very good so I would recommend this unit to any serious listener.
@superhuevosdehombre -- "...extremely expensive..." -- care to elaborate? At $900, it's priced fairly in the SDR marketplace and a can come very close to the receive performance of your $3,000-5,000 HAM transceivers. The included software offers some very nice features.
I just ordered one of these... Shipping was $146. I hope it comes gift wrapped or at least not smashed.

Nice, but could do with much more in depth to cover all feature and more importantly all levels of viewers. Maybe a series of video's ?

Bob, I highly recommend showing off the wide-range waterfall capability of the Excalibur. The spectrum scope is quite dull to look at all day.
