Reaffirms my liking of Men Without Hats' music.... why the fuck did I have to be born twhen I was and not in the right era to enjoy this when it was mainstream? >_< ~_~
Holy fuck what a great track! The lyrics, for cryin' out loud...GENIUS. I don't think it's on any of their studio albums (?). When I lived in Boston years ago, a friend once told me...listen to their other stuff and you'll understand. I've grown to love MWH ever since. One massive global pop hit is nice, but sadly it can be a detriment to a band's long-term career at the same time. Now I hear this and think they are probably the most underrated band ever.
I had the pleasure of seeing the Hats about 4 times. This was when they had dropped the synths and really rocked it. We jokingly called them Metallica Without Hats. Thanks for the memory.
I always wondered about this song after hearing it on a bootleg a few years back. I know it's not any of the earlier albums, but was it a b-side? Or just an unreleased track? Also, is it an original or a cover? Any info appreciated.

They released this on one of the best of compilations and may or may not have been on the 2003 album or 'The Spell'

Wow, this is the first live video I've seen of them. Reminds me of Sisters of Mercy.

Unreleased original track called "Heaven". We used to play it as a warm up song during rehearsal for the '85 tour and kept it for the shows.

The song is on the new "My Hats Collection" CD (best of). Still a cool (kind of cheesy) video.

Check iTunes. MWH is FINALLY there, albeit only one album and this song is on it.
