  • Awesome video. It seems like a dream to me that I had. I love these guys. How many killer tunes does this group have? I lost count. It has a fantastical surreal quality. Like "Fire with fire" as well as other tunes recorded a long time ago, they have such a relevancy for me that it makes my head swim. One of my favorite bands. May Heaven shower down on them in all their ways. Can't wait to get more of their stuff. --bzzmeister--

  • kansas tira

    o cara canta muito

    bela musica

  • The departure of Steve Walsh just made Kansas a very stale band... These are the bad very bad Kansas days...

  • @ogrebattle22763 Most of the VC tunes were recorded on demos with Walsh...then he left

  • Way to go John....your old bud Nate

  • quite an interesting song ...~

  • Brings back some memories like the time we................

  • Kansas' time of popularity was short. I dont see why

  • Yeah, Kansas is amazing!!!! I love this!

  • John elfonte has a good voice, but in my opinion never top steve walsh, nothing bad on john...

  • Dude, R U High? This song is one of Kansas' best tunes. You are obviously a tone deaf critic with some piss poor taste.

  • I miss these days. The 80's were the best.

  • Absolute awful. Unworthy of their earlier efforts.

  • This song was actually written by another relatively unknown band...can't remember their name. The original lyrics were about a one-night-stand..."Stay, stay with me tonight...can you tell me if its wrong or right...." After his conversion Kerry just didn't feel it appropriate to do. So with legal permission, they changed the lyrics (tune stayed the same). The song is about the glory of Rock fame & fortune but asking the deeper questions of is it worth it if the price means losing your soul.

  • adroguei!

  • For Don Kirshner...RIP Don

  • In the summer of 1981 we moved to a small town without cable and so, needless to say for me, there was no MTV debut. Just after this song came out we were in the "city" looking for a new television and what to my wondering eyes should appear? MTV, and this is the first video that I ever saw on MTV. Great song, too. Sadly, my parents knew what they'd came for, & after this it went to commercial. Another 8 months before cable and MTV came to our small town. They stilled played music on MTV then.

  • A chess match between good and evil. That chess match is imo a metaphor for the struggle between good and evil.

  • I kick ass at chess...ftw!

  • I am a big Kansas fan and I like both Steve and John and must say this was a better album for them than the last one or two that they did with Steve up to this point. My humble opinion and I am sticking to it!! LOL

  • I love Kansas. But I NEVER knew this song was Kansas. LMAO. I just thoght it was one of those one hit wonder bands in the 80's. No Steve Walsh= I have no clue who it is. Very copycat sound.

  • Well when you have a Lead singer leave the band they need to replace him no matter what to make a living. Steve's voice is awesome and so is john's but bands are never the same when they are not the original members. Saw them in concert with steve and john still AWESOME shows and great times. No regrets here.

  • i have this song on 45 vinyl record plus ive got this on a ktel album

  • Love this song.

  • I wonder if they taped this video in the same place as the "Windows" vid. The sets look the same.

  • This is a 1st for me as well.Thank you from a long time Kansas fan.

  • Never seen this. Thanks for posting.
