@sugarpeepsez It's an area in Scandinavia which consists of several smaller villiages and communites.

@sugarpeepsez A "socken" is a parish. Or WAS, really. The thousands of small parishes were officially replaced by much bigger "kommuner" (municipalities) back in the 50's. The word "socken" is still in use, though - mainly by dialectologists, historians, archaeologists, genealogists and such. Within the Church of Sweden, the old parishes have been replaced by today's "församlingar" (literally, congregations).

The Song is a bit confusing, hard to explain the lyrics with so few words that are allowed here. Main idea about the song is that different character, a doctor a priest a teacher dont know something in different situations :)
