That was actually the radio show I was listening to. My brother, for some reason, decided to loop the music at the end. We had some snow here just a few weeks ago!!
I forgot my camera today, but I was on the strip working, and there wasn't any snow when I drove home. My brother lives closer to the mountains, and said he got three inches. It's supposed freeze tonight, and the roads will be ice.
I can't imagine this happening. In November of 2001 very small flurries fell for a couple of minutes in summerlin plus a short video on the news of it snowing on the strip is the only times i ever saw it snow in vegas.
wait, it snows out there? i thought it really doesnt get bellow 50 degrees out there. i was just there last summer and its hard to imagine snow there lol
The chances of it snowing in the Las vegas valley is very slim. while most of the mountains out west (and Gass peak sometimes wich is out north) get snow, the ones out south and east are up to 1,000-4,500 feet high and i never seen snow on them. Charlston peak the highest point in southern Nevada Probably gets the most snow and seems to last much longer.
the snow was ok but it would have been great if it just stayed for at least 4-5 hours. i have a question: when did it start cause i woke up that day around 7:30 or 8:00
Been to Vegas a few times. Hard to imagine any snow that would accumulate. Like the background music Matt.

i miss vegas i just moved from there to europe lol and it was snowing here today but it didnt stick

My family lived near Madrid for three years, and traveled to (the former) Yugoslavia, to see our relatives, in the late 60's.
