Jackie's stunt team often uses wires and cables attached to the feet to increase the speed of certain falls (i.e. Jackie kicks someone in the legs and knocks their legs out from under them, the actual fall is triggered by a cable yanking their feet out from under them). A different use for cable than HHamza was probably thinking, but it's still a use of wires/cables to enhance a fight scene.
