DJ's that don't produce their own music still have talent. you have to have a vast knowledge of music and put together the right songs in the right order to make a dope party. They also mix the songs into each other only play certain parts of certain songs, mess around with the way the songs come out etc. Go to any club with a dope DJ not playing his own music and another Club with a mediocre dj just pressing play. HUGE difference in the energy of the room.
