  • What is the price of one kazoo?

  • very useful review, thx.

  • Very, extremely helpful, own a plastic one, getting a metal one in the mail, definitely going to get a wood one now

  • so i guess you would only reach the notes you would reach with your normail voice, aint it? you wouldnt be able to reach any higher notes as you would with any other instrument, right?

  • Not sure the specifics, but I can certainly reach a broader range of notes, high and low, with the kazoo I could never hit with my voice....

  • what song is that ur playing

  • Baker Street

I have a vid of the whole song on ukulele and kazoo filling in for sax

  • k cause it sounds amazing i had no idea a kazoo sounded so much like a sax when used right. that woodan kaoo is amazing sounding

  • i watched ur vid there is no kazoo in it u mhummed it ??

  • Good reviews! I've never actually worn out a kazoo but I've had several visitors (mostly adults) spot a kazoo on my mantle, pick it up, and blow like they was a Newfoundland fog horn. That's generally the end of the diaphragm. Unfortunately, the child-safe laws are prompting more and more manufacturers to glue the tops on or otherwise make them permanent. The best replacement diaphragm is a disc of waxed paper. Oddly enough, Lee Valley (dot com) sells a pretty good metal kazoo.
  • I just realized you said Lee Valley...... Great shop!, But kazoos? Really?

    Who'd a thunk it?

  • I have a plastic kazoo just like the one you showed and two metal ones similar to yours and guess what - All 3 Made In China! I guess they do them just for export.

  • If it wasn't for the fact that it needs two hands, I would use a comb and paper. I sadly hove no other use for a comb

  • Do us a demo, Tony-

I've never understood the comb-and-paper hummer.

  • love it,great reviews!

  • The wooden one looks pretty cool. I'll have to get one of those! What I like about the metal one is that the cap helps to keep it fixed in the harmonica holder I use.
