I agree with rafferty, do you see the smiles after the moms laughter? Thats the endorsement by the most important person in the child life that its ok to abuse monsters. When she becomes a woman the monster may take the form of bf's husbands, cops, etc. Psycologists have written books saying this kid most likely will only ever be in abusive relationships. Not my problem, but its really terrible parenting. However, I also agree its funny as hell though I'd never raise my kids so irresponsibly.

Research done by any psychologist is never fully proof - they can twist the results however they like - just because they say its so, doesn't mean its always true.
