thats cause this battle isn't in the original game. Grandia Digital museum is a special disc that has its own dungeons where you go around unlocking stuff like special games, production sketches, radio drama's etc.. its really a fan service disk with about 13 hours play content that Gamearts released on the Sega Saturn only.
