  • Dude you should see it do a display, jor-dropping!

  • fantastic job

  • very short take off run

  • Love that plane! so giant and good

  • tbird209. I usually go to Bayswater Rd in East Boston/Orient Heights. Or GrandView Ave/Coughlin Park in Winthrop where the planes land/take off directly above at 300 ft. Much better than Castle Island in Southie as you can see them land/takeoff.

  • @townclose - All are nice locations.

  • Bayswater Road ?

  • @townclose - Do you know the area?

  • wtf? This thing took off less than 4 miles away from me and I never even heard a thing about it!! (Very angry airplane enthusiast here!!) Thanks for the great video!

  • LOL!!! The sorta snuck it in on Feb. 8th and snuck it out on Feb. 9th. Lots of great photos and video available of the visit though.

  • Tbird that came out so well! Great work. I can´t post my clip because I didn´t use my viewfinder and lost the plane after take-off due to the sun. This is excellent and lets me relive the experience! It was amazing!!

  • Thanks Robert!! I would still like to see your video. Looking forward to seeing you at the spotting sites as the temps get warmer too.

  • @tbird209 I hope to see you there too.

  • Ohhh It Took 15 Seconds To Takeoff!!

  • it's so big!!! lol that is a awsome video! Thanks for posting it!

  • @topgunman99 - Glad you enjoyed it.

  • nice

  • Amazing video man, lucky bastards 5*

  • beautiful Videos from the A380, i see the a380 by a go-around and the plane was not very loud. Its was the testplane from Airbus

  • Love this bird so much. These powerful engines!!! he plane was light, thats the reason for the short take off roll. Saw 2 A380s 2 weeks ago in Paris. The white Air France bird is so beautyful! And yes: they are incredible quiet: At the ILA in Berlin the people was always shocked to see this big bird, but not to listen it ;-)

  • Thanks for this awesome video Tbird209! It realy spotlights some of the excellent performance elements of the A380. By the way, how do you manage to find all of these great video opportunities? Your site has some of the best spotting content out there. I would really have enjoyed seeing the plane if I had known that it was in Boston.

  • @Aeroplaneluv - Thanks for the kind words!!

  • I had just dropped someone off at Logan and to my total surprise, spotted the A380 as I was driving down the airport roadway. I almost hit the guardrail! Great video.

  • @saabkate - You sound like a Logan spotter as you know where to look as you drive through the airport. :-) As such, I've sent you a message about a Boston-based plane spotters' group.

  • Man... I wish I knew about this. Did she land on 22L, 14R, 14L, 15R ...?

  • @VideoMaster2384 - She landed on 33L and departed on 22L.

  • Awesome video!

  • @girldemprado - tonk yuh star.

  • And if only they did it 45 minutes earlier I could have seen it from the highway.

  • very nice!!! great view

  • I second Southwest Freak - Wow - Wow-Wow - that was amazing, great footage, awesome T-Bird!!!!

  • WOW. thats all i can say. what was the point of the visit? i wonder if we will start seeing these birds more often
