All they did was fly straight and fire one or two at a time... sorry but that's more dull than anything else.... if they brought a real fleet at once that'd be something different.
@RapidFyrez I would say yes, AMoC added a lot of new toys and new gameplay to all the races (not just another race, though the race is fun). In fact I would recommend going for the complete collection (about the same price as AMoC + ANY on GamersGate... and you get a few maps w/complete collection that you can't get otherwise).
btw: Sorry about the delay... besides not visiting youtube frequently the comment system really ticks me off a lot (error messages, no error but no post either... etc)
nice combination there, PP with glutonic torpedo is a very beautiful line up for those impactors that don't have much Point defense.( i swear they had PD missiles, they are just not spamming it.) but i really enjoy morrigi ship designs, all guns pointing forward is so much better compared to liir ships.also have vertical Point defense coverage for dreadnoughts, which most races don't have.
@BlueTemplar15 Completely accidental. I goofed and didn't enable sound recording as I had intended. I didn't think I could reproduce some of the stuff I caught so I kept this.
questiong: it didnt look like the hiver were trying to go for ure ships at all, just trying to bum rush the planet it self, why werent they going for ure dreds and turn thems selves into a shooting gallery
@InRealTime769 For one thing - the worst thing you can do to defenders in this game is hurt their planet as that limits the defenders abilities strategically and possibly takes the planet away from them. 2nd Hivers have a good firing angle from every direction (though often their best is from a broadside). 3rd the AI can be a bit simplistic in Tactical... It's primary goal is to get in range of the planet and then hurt planet and ships at the same time (many good firing angles).
@InRealTime769 It's a good tactic to go for the planet, particularly if your enemy is strong and it costs too much to kill their ships. Also Hiver ships have a good firing angle from every angle unlike most races so they are best at rushing to the planet and hitting it and everything else on the way. Morrigi are among the most maneuverable ships for comparison (especially their dreadnoughts). A little damage to a planet goes a long way, especially in close games (this wasn't close).
I know I've seen this before today. Its just as good as I remember it. LOVE the Hiver fighter swarm getting torn apart by the Morri Drones. I also love the way the music meshes so nicely with the Hiver DN going down at around 8:35. Music reaches its crescendo, hivers go boom. Well done!
I love the design of the ships of Morrigi! Among all the designs used by the races of SoTS, this is the most remarkable. All other ships are ridiculous when compared to those used by Morrigi
Well the Morrigi are supposed to be an ancient (though somewhat fallen) race. I also like how they work with keeping their distance and watching/fighting from the shadows and then bursting into the field with ships like... well my video :) .
