I use to listen to this song on 45, ( young people haven't the slightest idea what a 45 is)so much, it's a wonder that record didn't melt. I'm talking about hours at a time. This song and "Reach for the moon" were out about the same time. These type of songs contributed in the molding on my generation character.
Boy, boy, boy, I was about 12 yrs old when this came out. I use to sing it to a young lady when I was around 32 or 33. She loved it and would have tears in her eyes. She's deceased now. I don't know how she was not promoted to the equal Aretha and others. She was a tremendous talent. Liaten to Young at Heart and Cry Baby Cry. Ever heard better versions?
