Great accoustic medley. I love it. I remember this was Jan. 26, 1991 to be exact. I remember because I had the AMAs taped onto VHS and I put the date on it. I still have the tape, too. :-)

"You're In Love" hadn't even been released as a single yet, so the general public didn't yet know the song. But I had owned the cassette (yep, I wouldn't make the transition to CD for a couple more years) so I already knew the song well. "Eyes Like Twins" should've been a single though.

At 2:06, what the fuck happened? They suddenly sound like three discordant witches. I think the gawky looking one on the right can't sing for shit and she fucked the whole thing up. Good lord. Why is she even in the group?!?! Can somebody answer this for me? It's been keeping me up all night.

@weirdowaldo Wendy is simply too shy. In the early days of her carrer she was affraid ot public appearances and live performances. I think this is some kind of virtue instead of the modern agresive pop singers. I'am agree that 2:06 is misunderstanding between the three.

@weirdowaldo Wendy's got a beautiful voice. Listen to the CDs... And actually, if you ask me, I believe Carnie was the sour voice here in this performance. (Not saying anything negative about her, she's got a beautiful voice also. But everyone has off nights.)
