@Rick45451000 Thank you for your kind comment - I'm so glad you enjoyed my version. It's also on iTunes but no longer on Amie Street. Warm regards - David Keith Jones
@vivascargill Thanks for you kind comment. Handel, being German, of course kept in with the Hanoverians - as did Shakespeare with the Tudors. A great composer, nonetheless.
Thanks again! I don't do much on You Tube at present due to albums for iTunes etc but was intrigued by your channel. I am from a mining family. My grandad supported of Uncle Joe then became a Maoist.. During the 1984-5 strike I supported the miners, but on visiting Wales found that some people distrusted Arthur's leadership - defeat from the jaws of victory etc.
My school contemporary Neil Kinnock became leader of the UK Labour Party.
David, I saw you put this song on your iTunes album. Congratulations on that, and hope it does great. The 1996 "Emma" was a lovely movie, and hearing you sing this song makes me think of lovely things like gardens, birds, flowers.
Always a pleasure to listen to this gifted singer. I certainly hope there are plenty more to follow. I also enjoy the accompanying photographs. Roy Lewis
Thank You for this beautiful version. It is one of my all time favourites. Truly beautiful.

This is incredible. I've never heard a voice in such a control of pitch and volume.

Beautiful!! ironic that Handel could write Hail the conquering hero celebrating the butcher of the Scots at Culloden
