  • what else can you add to magnesium sulfate to make is flamable?

  • @oOWinterNightOo The base composition is 60% KN (Potassium Nitrate) and 40% DX (Dextrose, a kind of sugar). This burns well and makes a very good rocket propellant. Increasing amounts of mangnesium sulfate were added to slow down the burn rate so the propellant could be formed into a delay/smoke grain. In the end I gave up on this combination as the mixture tended to absorb moisture after a few days and not burn that well.

  • @jeffmensch mine always burnt too fast, and exploded XD that's y i only use it for delay and stuff

  • @hamsterboy13 I've found that if you cook it too fast or too hot then it will explode instead of burning evenly. Lower the temperature and take more time. Make sure the heat is spread evenly. I've found a wok or electric skillet works great. Good luck with your experiments.

  • @jeffmensch i always use an electric skillet on minimum temperature. :) i am a patient pyro
