This is an excellent demonstration, in part because having the centerline placed on an actual face helps to reinforce the notion that one is actually sketching a three-dimensional figure when sketching.

@mrdudy8 You would put it straight up and down, yes. He didn't say it in this video, but the center-line trick is also used for us to measure at certain degrees of "asymmetrical-ity" of things in the face. Besides, even this tutor's face is crooked in numerous parts. It doesn't effect this exercise.
