Yes! they broke up for a while and Tim Booth (lead singer) went off and did a couple cds on his own but then they reformed and came out with a new album last year called "Hey Ma"

James is still musically relevant. Great vacals, great music. However, some seniors are blessed economically and some aren't. To be blunt, most aren't and I would have rather seen a video of these people. I think we know that the majority of our seniors, no matter in which country they live in, are being unfairly treated. The people featured in this video aren't subject to the 75% full diaper mark rule as the majority of seniors are and are not represntative of the mainstream. I'm diasappointed.

No, these interviews on the vidoe are of the few that have managed to save for their senoir years. Most don't and have a real struggle, which is dehumanizing and an abasement to humanity. What was Jmes thinking here? Love him, great song, but get in touch with the mainstream. I wanted to buy his new album, but I'm not so sure now.

It's the truth for a selected few who have managed to amass enough funds to see them though their lifetime. There are very few such people. How about the seniors living in subsidized housing eating pet food? I can't find a music video about them because nobody cares. It's hip and fun to point to the few who have actually made a living in their old age. Somebody said truth hurt. They may well die alone, unattended, and uncared for as are most elderly. That's the norm, and there's the bitterness.

You didn't understand what I said. Most of us do die poor and it's that group of people that I'm trying to save, although some days I don't know why when all I get is hateful comments. I'd rather die poor and honest, too, minus the diaper rash, the bed sores and food aspirations. Somebody has to champion the elderly who have no money. I'm not sure what else I can say. This is the area in which I work and I am passionate about what I do. Our elderly deserve so much more. If you can, help.

I only got into them a few years ago during college, took a huge liking to them and then realised they'd split - thought I'd never get a chance to see them live, then heard they'd reformed and playing an arena tour - made the most of last year! Carlisle, MEN, HMV, Club Academy, Hoxton twice, V Fest.... I have a ticket at my side for Liverpool this year :) :)

I first got into James in 1983/4 - about the same time as the Smiths - chap called John Peel played them on the radio late at night - James have never had the recognition they deserve - you can hear their influence in everything coming out of manchester since - Happy Mondays, Stone Roses esp.

After 24 years of loving their music and never seeing them, I finally got my chance this summer in Barcelona... and it was probably one of the top five gigs of my life.
