@maastona The Harry Potter series has the same problem. People seem to think that if a film follows the book faithfully it will be boring, but the opposite is usually true. And making every film 3D hasn't helped because now ALL they care about is making it look good in 3D. In the last HP film, Bellatrix explodes when she gets killed *just* so they could use it as a 3D effect. It was cartoonish and stupid. People don't explode when they're hit with the killing curse in the books.

The whole "green army" thing ruined the whole battle. Not only did they make it seem like Rohan was "losing" to the Haradrim but also had to include this immortal army that cleaned out the field. Sucks, but good for viewer numbers I guess.

@Kekkiki Not exactly. The Rohan Army killed the major part of Sauron's army, but they were saved by Aragorn indeed. He used the army of the deads to free mordor's prisoners, who where like 2000, and brought them to pelennor fields with Umbar's ships, to fight alongside rohirrims.

The guy who kills Macbeth, Malcolm, says he was born via cesarean and does not apply to the prophecy.
