I never knew Stefan Liv other than as a goalie in the Swedish team Hv71, but I felt heartbroken when I got the news that he died. That proves to me that you're more than just a player on the ice. First of all you're a human being. This human was well respected for his hard work on the ice & his great personality OFF the ice. R.I.P Stefan & of course all the players on the plane.

@kiiiiiiimmm the KHL will be rebuilding the team using players from minor leagues in Russia, as well as players from other KHL teams, out of respect they should probably hold off.

@kiiiiiiimmm The KHL has instructed each of it's remaining teams to allocate two or three of their players towards helping rebuilding the fallen team has recieved amazing support from amongst the rest of the league's teams and they will help rebuild Lokomotiv.

They ARE due to take the ice again sometime this season, but it will take a long time to recover, if ever sadly... :-(
