You're correct about Obama's opinion on gay marriage but I highly recommend you find the video of him talking about "LGBT Rights" (yes, he uses the phrase) in front of a predominately church-going crowd. Very inspiring and it does make a difference. He also did not support Prop 8 or 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' and he does support 'civil unions', which, given the continued hammering gay rights is going to take from religious bigots for years to come - is still progress. But I'm in Canada so WOO-HOO!
