This drill will help you with the proper weight transfer sequence and shoulder rotation (which 90% of weekend tennis players lack). I would recommend trying to develop a consistent toss by placing 2 rackets on floor. For 1st second serve to butt of racket at front foot pointing towards the net & 2nd serve racket face on floor next to inside of front foot. Try to hit strings of 1 racket then the next with toss.

What the fuck? You are supposed to bring your racket back and toss the ball at the same time. And you pump your left hand after throwing the ball, not just bringing it down. This is horrendous...I would recommend FYB2007 videos...and video jug tennis.

Learn it the video jug way. They have good videos. And no I'm not affiliated to them. Type "video jug tennis" in your browser and you'll find a very good video by a pro trainer, explaining better than this one, and showing a complete serve in action too, which this video quite astonishingly does not. I'm into tennis and guitar playing and in either discipline, expert village fails to deliver.
