i have an 05 883 sportster and would like to switch everything over to a diff frame. i'm looking for something like a softail bobber to switch onto. now all the frames i've looked at online say that it'll fit from 99-03 sportys, my question is does it really matter? and what do i have to do to make that same engine and tranny fit? i just want to make my sporty look stretched and beefed up more and all i have to play with is $2700 for now, any suggestions would be appreciated
Dude, you're not supposed to fight that axle like that. You gotta drive it in with a big hammer like the guys on American Chopper do. All kidding aside, it's great watching you build this bike without your dad yelling at you and threatening to put his boot in your ass.
they call bikes like this choppers but really theyre not. a chopper is a modified or chopped bike that was once complete. these bought bikes are custom but not chopped. well thats how i see it anyway. but its a good instructional video with a nice bike either way
yeah its not bad but i dont like the way that most of the parts look like they were bought not fabricated... whats wrong with building the bike from scratch.. I.E building the frame etc....
if people are still looking for the sprocket setup its made by exile cycles in cali

So much work for such little views when there are ppl who film cats and dogs and get a million hits.

@Probuilt7 This guy has no clue how to build a bike. He doesn't yell and he doesn't throw stuff around the shop.

its not so much modified as it is built from scratch. they are choppers by todays standards but not from where they really come from
