I have had clear wire for about a year and a half now and is the worst wifi 4g whatever the hell you can get. I don't know If anyone with clear tried playing games like call of duty or anything but I did and i lagged and lagged and guess what I lagged even more . So yea clear is the best service u can get not

I have had Clearwire for 5 years. Each year, Clearwire's service has gotten progressively worse. More outages, throttling of use, and the worst customer service representatives that I have EVER experienced.

I had CLEAR internet for about 3 months. It is the worst internet service i've ever had in terms of speed and customer service. i was getting like 102 kbs download speed max and youtube videos always lag and buffer

From the wise: Make sure you they dont do a contract(they will even if you dont want it), its stable never goes down relatively, they WILL throttle you from 8-30GB down to 2Mbps or far less. The ping is OK ,90 to 120ms. The phone works great unless you need an emergency system for say heart monitors. The unlimited advertisement is a lie and will result in throttling. Overall clear is decent and a good deal you just need to be careful. No shows-bluray, no games. Just net.

I've had clear for several months. I get 2mbps down on a good day, but usually I get below that. It's not 4G by any stretch. Buyer beware. After about month or two you'll see the choke hold is put on your speed. Don't waste money on Clear.

I have clear home and mobile, this service sucks balls, it makes dial up seem fast. It started up at 1,200 Kbps then I turned my 360 and ps3 on, then I saw it literally drop to 6 Kbps. FUCK CLEAR4G.. I want my $300 back.. I fortunately don't have the contract so I can UPS this shitware back to them. Please people, I never dog ISP's but I seriously do not reccomend Clear, Stay Clear of CLEAR.. Go with Verizon or TWC or comcast.. this guy was a total douche'.. No way he had it for 3 years.

Guys, do yourself a favor: Do NOT buy Clear!.

They tell you is unlimited, but the reality is that when you start using a certain amount, they limit your internet access, or as they would say "manage" your internet access. If you want to stream movies and/or play online, you're screwed with Clear.

I was thinking about clearwire when it came to my rural area in california but I am a gamer but for games there is tons of videos on youtube on that clearwire sucks for gaming like on the XBox 360 and PC and PS3 because they throttle the connection in the modem and that increased the Ping.

@markitzero12 I, unfortunately, have Clear. I bought an xbox360 to play online and the connection is a real pain, it is EXTREMELY bad, it keep lagging all the time, and it keeps disconnecting you from the internet because that's how they programmed the towers to behave after certain amount of usage. If you're a heavy gamer, get internet through cable like Time Warner Cable, is the best for gamers, or get Fios from Verizon.

@Rodriguez8611 There is no DSL, Cable, Fiber Internet were I live there is only Satellite"Wildblue and HugesNet", WISP"$60US-$120US depending on usage", Dial-up, 3G. The thing is when 4G comes to my area I will not be going through Clear I will be going right to Sprint. so I am limited for internet in my area in California

@markitzero12 Sprint is involved in the same practice, Sprint and Clear are partners. Read Sprints Terms of contract, read the part where they talk about unlimited service, they even put the word unlimited with quotation marks. But all in all, I think you're forced to use Sprint.
