The ship is resting on its side, not upside down. If the visor really did fall off and pull open the ramp, then the mechanical arms and other things attached to the visor would've been seriously damaged and bent out of shape, making it impossible for the ramp to be closed like that.
The visor was still attached or resting very closely tot he ship when this video was made. The footage showing this was edited out from these underwater films, which, I might add, are of extremely poor quality and highly unprofessional.
the ramp was open only a little bit and the water started flooding in from the ramp altough crew found out in in a camera that was in the car deck in front of the flooding ramp
allth3 So quick to assume a conspiracy! The captain was running too fast head on into the waves. If water cant bend steel, dams never break. As for the dents, it was banging around on the front of the ship until all the hinges broke. It wasn't an instantaneous failure, and there was a lot less steel holding the bow door on than anyone would be comfortable thinking about, which is why ro-ro vessels of this type were retrofitted with an airtight steel door behind the bow door after this disaster.
Many ferries on far rougher routes to Ireland, Spain etc have visors and havent had any problems. What needs to be answered is what caused the huge dent in the Estonias visor?? It certainly wasnt a wave!
The huge dent in the bow visor was caused by the visor hitting the bulbous bow when it broke loose from the ship according to the official reports. What really happened will probably remain unknown until the final report is declassified in 2064.
The ripples at the beginning. Sign of explosion. You can't see the side of the ship it's lying on. No one knows it's state.
There is such mystery surrounding this tragedy. Someone is responsible for a terrible mistake. Probably an innocent explosion of military equipment carried by an EU government smuggled out of Russia. Lucky for them bow doors on roro ferries have a history that makes for a good cover up.
NATO had 14 ships, submarines, aircraft, and personnel from the United States, Europe, Sweden, and Russia assembled near the scene of the sinking of Estonia. The purpose of the NATO exercise included "search and rescue" operations, yet when disaster struck, NATO did nothing to help. Why? What was NATO doing that was more important than saving the lives of their citizens? Why won't they even talk about it? If not the citizens, to whom is NATO accountable? What kind of organization is this?
Well, that doesn't show that clearly. What IS strange though, is that the ramp, although in a movie from the international comission was said to be fully opened and that being the reason for the massive water flow, seems to be almost completely closed.
the strange thing is that the metals if u look carfuly are bended and some very bended like and exposion or like a bomb we can say the presure of the sea cant bend like that metals which arethat thick so something else has happened...
yeah, it can't come off like that. anyone who has seen a visor and the ramp and its locks in his life will agree. No wave power can EVER come even close to bending not even quarter of all of the steel there. Not possible. It must have been triggered.
@allth3s4me There been rumours that russia sold their submarines (all kinds of weaponary, cuz of end of the soviet union) in that time, i belive it was a submarine that crashed into Estonia. Cuz the they used all kind of ship's to be out of military radars and hided below ships. cuz of the military training in Denmark Strait. At the same time it was the only way out from baltic sea. Thats my opinion .
9/11 2001 was an inside job so what about M/S Estonia? The official story says it was an "accident" but there was a bomb(s) in the M/S Estonia. There was mysterious and unlisted cargo in the ship. That stuff was russian weapons which were on their secret way from Russia to Estonia and from there to Sweden.
Jutta Rabe has been investigating what really happened to the M/S Estonia. She has been threatened because of this. There are too many unanswered questions in the official "accident" story.
But a diver found a non detonate bomb which looked like a package from Russia he said. The diver didnt wanted to be captured on videocamera fearing for his life.
Did you all know that all the witnesses that survived this accident, why no one has interrogated them? A lot of people who wanted to interrogated where killed by the russians afterwards because of the truth. the person of command of Estonia survived but no one has interrogated him.. guess why..
This video dont show what I have seen, A bomb placed under the boat. The found a orange coloured bomb on the bomb. I will try to find this picture again and I will come back. fuck russians.

you are jerk. i know one who survived. he is friend of my family and there are many else whom i know as a people who were on Estonia that night and survived. no one was killed. stop lying. and fuck you not russians.
Well, this version may be false. Why ? Because another ship, the Jan Heweliusz, sank in the same way years before the estonia, with water pouring from the bow visor. The Heweliusz ship capsized yet, but remained for many hours upside down before finally sinking, whereas the Estonia sank in 20 minutes. And when you see what the Swedish gov. did to cover the truth, well, you might ask yourself some questions.
If they raised the wreck from the bottom, many questions could be answered. But so far, I personally believe the story that the massive waves of the storm broke the ships visor. In a documentary it was told, that the visor was exceptionally lightweight, and that the ship was never designed for so rough sea.
well the ramp is hinged on the ship which is resting upside down so I don't really find it very surprising that it is closed
