  • I agree prohibition of this plant is destroying and hurting many people who need the healing of this god given plant!!!!

  • Prohibition is Destroying the Quality of Life for EVERYONE ! To End Prohibition is to Give New Life and a Better Quality of Life to All of MANKIND !

  • We are now 17 years into the future since we first planted in 1994. Currently There is a California Industrial Hemp Farming Bill on Gov Jerry Brown's desk. We are waiting for him top sign it into law. He has until Oct 9th 2011 to sign it or veto it. We think he will do the right thing and sign it. God Wiling Jah

  • the more i learn about this, the more sense it makes. i hope common sense will win out over big business and hemp will make a comeback in the future.

  • Save your seeds! National Hemp day is coming soon. On April 20, 2010 plant all your extra seeds around your city outside where they will grow.

  • A mere setback for a true visionary!

Mr. Hempsteader will you (please) be putting in a new crop and mounting a legal challenge to the feds if Prop 19 passes a week from Tuesday?

  • Same story over and over again since 1937. Someday this stupid law will fall.

  • truckin idiot

  • Big brother says nope. Remember in November.

  • cannabis for smoking you daft cunts

  • See No Hemp, Hear No Hemp, Speak No Hemp.

We are living in an economy of LIES.

  • Too bad that Republican Senator (followed by Republican governor) Pete Wilson orchestrated the destruction of this hemp field.

  • dam lol, if only they did it one day later...........

  • There is a chance that the economy will not be centrally controlled any more. People should be able to grow their own food or energy, but that is essentially illegal by decree (big business would be my first guess). Entrepreneurs.. whatever.. but people should have a right to a stabilizing agriculture. Those seed are extremely good for food. We'd all be healthier for that alone. It might not be the best way to get dollars from sun, but it is one of the best, yet it is disallowed like a taboo.

  • @hypnofan35 California AGRICULTURE HEMP FARMING ACT 2011.

  • @hempsteader how did that go? gl from norway

  • idrobinhood...right on...and don't forget, the COTTON INDUSTRY! They would lose millions too. Not to mention how much money it cost to grow Cotton and how bad environmentally it is. It is the worst crop for pest control because it is so prone to pests and is very hard to control it other than pesticides, that is why organic cotton is so outrageously expensive/hard to grow.

  • My thoughts on the laws.

Corporations uses the laws so to push out and make money for there products.

example DuPont corporation has nylon rope, if there was hemp rope was made available to the market, hemp rope would win over nylon rope.

Another monopoly controlling company that wants control of the farm land and bio fuels (corn, soybean) there genetically modified seeds, The MANSONTO corporation would has losses in the $100s of millions if hemp bio fuels was being made.

  • hell yea and i live in brawley and i still grow it

  • Hmm...Are you really being totally honest without a little wink? Certain plants will not go to seed. Even when it was legal, it was common knowledge the flowers would give you a nice buzz. I have no idea why it's an issue though, alcohol is far more destructive. The potential has already been shown regarding it's varied uses in industry and if a few growers isolate some females, oh well.

  • industrial hemp has very low THC. it wil give you a head aches or taste very nasty. the CBD and CBC have made the THC very low according the the level of industrial hemp , known as True Hemp.

  • If you boil it in milk,

it'll give you an incredibly strong high

    when ingested. I've tried.

  • What are we going to do about global warming?

Grow hemp. Hemp is a biomass champion at cleaning the air of the excess greenhouse gas CO2, burns four times more efficiently than corn as clean biofuel, and since it's wind and not bee pollinated, can serve as a back-up food source in case the bees don't return. Legalize hemp, tax it at 20% to help heal the earth from global warming. For more information check out HEMP FOR VICTORY: A GLOBAL WARMING SOLUTION by Richard M. Davis

  • Somebody wants you to have problems.

  • This is so sad... why can't people grow this? It could change and better our economy... it could be such a boost and green product... Fucking DEA, they think they are morally correct (moral crusaders) and that they can't allow anything with THC in it... even thought THC is technically good for you XD... Or maybe it's the cotton industry, that dont want competition.

  • There is no THC in industrial hemp....further damaging the DEA's position on hemp...

  • Well Hemp contains like .03% THC... virtually no THC, but there is always a little there. Fact is, you can't get high, not only because of the low THC, but also because of the Higher CBD, which act's as an Anti-High chemical, as well as might give you a headache if u try to smoke it.

  • I meant there is no thc much in the sense that there is no opium in poppy seeds....there is some, but in trace levels....not enough to ban poopy seed bagels though...

  • good to see this video! thanks. hopefully this work can lead to less dependency on oil...sometime in the near future-

  • what a sad story but we know from history that we (humans) eliminate many of our opportunities and possibilities, and that we are ignorant in this relation. farmers would get bored of easy and fast growing hemp...

  • so true...not enough ppl know about hemp and demonize it with its harmless cousin cannabis!

  • Hemp is a wonderful plant that makes many products. Thank you for posting this video. I'm supporting the relegalization of hemp in my campaign in Georgia this year.

  • Thank you for the post!

This information will go a long way.

  • WOW I NEVER NEW THIS HAHAHAH BUT ITS NOW 2006

where is the fuck is it now?

  • I know... that is the so insane 13 years later . 0

time will win . we will win they will loose, 1 more year

  • Hemp is the fastest growing biomass on the planet. Its' renewable resources are endless. We are being duped by the chemical, petroleum and governmental big bizzzz baby...taking it in the ass hard..while the planet spins into polluted, global chaos. Smoke up johnny!!!!
