If the First Coming of Christ happened on the literally days of the Spring Feasts, why wouldn't the Second Coming happen on the literal days of the Fall Feasts. Theres no way to make the pre trib make sense. You must have Two or three second comings and three phases of a First resurrection when the First resurrection obviously occurs in Rev 20:4-5. These multiple appearances and stages are the only possible way you can make the pre-trib heretical doctrine fit into what you believe. At the last trump it will all happen.

Proponents of a pre-Trib Rapture would respond to your argument by saying that when Jesus comes in His glory, those who have put their faith in Him since the Rapture, and have since died, will be raised.

Therefore there would be two resurrections - one before the Trib and one when Jesus comes in glory.

The book 'The Rapture' goes through these diverse arguments in detail in order to form its conclusions.

As for the scientific element, many people have taken the judgements in Revelations and proven that it is indeed scientifically possible for all that has been prophesied to come true. The question is, do you have faith in the Bible and its teaching that Jesus was Gods son, and his sacrifice for a doomed world?

sorry laytonbloke, but if your view on the "rapture" is the same as lahaye, who managed to pull the wool ove the eyes of many with his fictional account, then i would highly recommend that you take the time to read ex-fundamentalist david currie's book "Rapture:the end times ERROR that leaves the bible behind"

The last time I came across such a distinction being made between 'His Church' and other 'ecclesial communities' was from a staunch Catholic. Many of whom disregard the Rapture because they adhere to their church traditions and teaching rather than studying what the Bible has to say.
