Just curious, how do u mix your overheads?

@Biggestmutemathfan Thanks bro! In this track I should have used more volume from them, But there are two overheads and a room mic. A friend of mine actually did the drum recording and mixing then I mixed the drum track with the song. Like I said, I could have done a better job lol.

@dicko2704 Thanks! Yeah I could have done a better job mixing the tracks, I lowered the volume of the highs and lows on the original track like in all my covers. However I could have added more volume from my overheads. It's a delicate balance sometimes because the overheads with too much volume start to sound harsh....I'm still trying to learn. As for Saosin, I may do Voices in the future, such a great groove.

@NYTROOPA Don't get me wrong, you're doing a better job than I could! The drum mix sounded great, really clear. I just noticed that the vocals on the track lost a little sharpness and clarity. Keep doing what you're doing, and always try new things. I would LOVE to hear you do Voices!
